Jatco Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd is a dynamic and growing brokerage specialising in tailored insurance solutions across multiple classes of business. Our Cells Department plays a pivotal role in delivering bespoke insurance structures and servicing international clients and stakeholders.

 

We are currently seeking a high-calibre Insurance Executive to join our expanding team. This role is suited to an experienced professional who can operate autonomously, provide strategic input, and contribute to the continued development of the department.

 

Role Overview
The selected candidate will assume a key position within the Cells Department, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic growth. The role requires a strong understanding of insurance practices, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder management at an international level.

 

Key Responsibilities
▪Provide leadership and direction on effective operational practices, including training, product development, workflow optimisation, and internal communication
▪Drive performance against established KPIs and contribute to departmental strategy and continuous improvement
▪Ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and high ethical standards
▪Conduct and oversee due diligence reviews on insurance policies, documentation, and systems
▪Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including international markets
▪Actively participate in departmental and Committee meetings
▪Liaise closely with the Compliance and Finance Departments
▪Oversee and support credit control processes, including follow-ups on outstanding payments
▪Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal processes, controls, and service standards

Skills, Experience & Requirements
▪Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the insurance industry, ideally within a brokerage or similar environment
▪Relevant insurance qualification (e.g. ACII) will be considered an asset
▪Registered Insurance Broker licence (or eligibility to obtain one)

Strong working knowledge of insurance regulations, compliance, and due diligence requirements
▪Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
▪Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
▪Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels
▪Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure
▪High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
